If you had the opportunity, what would you like to say to your father?

Thank you for showing me what it means to be a father. Now that I have my own son the sacrifices, nights away and days of working non stop mean so much more. I know you gave up moments when you wished nothing more than to be with us to ensure we had the life we have now.

It would be hard to nail down one specific story to share about my dad and I. I think the most important thing for me to share would just be that as a relatively new father myself knowing how much he sacrificed and gave up in time and moments to give us the life he had. He worked unbelievably hard to build up the life I had as a child and set the groundwork for the life I have now with my son and it will always mean the world to me.

Thank you once again, very very excited to surprise my dad with his new bag when it arrives.

If you had the opportunity, what would you like to say to your father?

Dear Ama, on this special day dedicated to you, I want to express my deepest gratitude for being the most amazing father anyone could ask for. Your protective nature has always made us feel safe and cherished, knowing that you would do anything to keep me out of harm's way. Your curious mind has inspired us to explore the world with an open heart and an inquisitive spirit, allowing me to grow and learn alongside you.

Your pure love and unwavering support have been the foundation of my confidence and happiness. From teaching me how to drive to sharing your wisdom about life's complexities, you have shown me that even the simplest cool things can bring immense joy. Thank you for being my superhero, my role model, and my best friend. Happy Father's Day, Ama!

"...It was very sudden so I never had the chance to say goodbye."

What's your father's name?

Regretfully, he passed away.

We feel sorry for the loss, Alan, he must be a good father in your life.

I am currently 39 years old and my father passed away when I was 20 years old. I was hesitant about even submitting anything to this since I'm not sure this would even be allowed, but I thought I'd use this just as a chance to say thank you to him for everything he did.

I had a very hard time for years after he passed, and without getting into too many details, it took me a long time to come to terms with his passing. It was very sudden so I never had the chance to say goodbye. Since I was 20 years old, I was always on the go, working and going to school. Hanging out with friends, and not really being home much. What I would like to say to my dad would be; I'm now married to the coolest woman in the world, I have three amazing sons, and I miss him a lot.

I’ve included a photo of my dad and me. I was, maybe 16 or so… it was such a memory lane moment finding this one. This was my first job too!

Now you have a chance to pick one case for your own, which one would you prefer to get?

This was such a wonderful surprise, I’m really honored to be picked, so thank you so much! Definitely means a lot to me. I’ve included a photo of my dad and me. I was, maybe 16 or so… it was such a memory lane moment finding this one. This was my first job too!

The main reason for this is that ever since I was young, my dad always had briefcases for his work and I remember, so well, always wanting a briefcase growing up. So I remember one year my parents got me a briefcase and I, probably 10 years old, used it so much! (As much as a young kid would haha). So the briefcase format really reminds me of my dad. Now, turning 40 years old in a few weeks (I can’t believe that), I’ll be using this for my own work!

Once again, truly, thank you! I’m a huge fan of tomtoc and this just was a huge surprise.
